Anche a voi avete qualche errore grafico su windows 8.1 x64?

tipo le decorazioni natalizie del primo livello e altri poligoni che appaiono/scompaiono?

Is anyone else having problems with this game?

When I click on ds_config.exe I get a pop-up box saying ds_config.exe has stopped working and the prog has to be closed. I click on the .bat file to try and launch the game and get a pop-up box informing me that cvgame.exe has stopped working and again the prog has to be closed. If I click on the actual cvgame.exe the game boots but absolutely nothing works, no keys at all do anything, no credits, player start etc.

My operating system is Windows 8.1 64bit. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hi Steve Ford.. I see no one has replied to you. I have exactly the same problem. Have you found a solution? I have established that the problem occurs when Geforce drivers are installed. If I uninstall the Geforce drivers and use the generic Windows graphics drivers it works fine. The workaround I have been using is to create another partition on my HD with Windows without Geforce drivers and play Deathsmiles II on that. Not ideal and I would like to find a proper fix.

It works for me but I dont have geforce.

For most of you trying to launch the game.
The problem has to do with the settings.
In most cases it relates to the resolution set by default if you have not changed it.
You should look for in the game a txt or .ini file with the config settings.

You can load and edit this via wordpad ect.
In most cases just change the resolution to one that you know you can run or displays on your monitor or arcade monitor.
This is why when you launch the game it may go to a black screen, and then exit the execution of the game.
Like wise it is also why you get an error when trying to run the config or exe batch file.

Simply edit the output settings config txt file or the .ini then save once you have set the resolution.

Hope this helps. This also applies to the sega model 2 emulator ect.
